Description
This course will set the stage a lil bit for William Carlos Williams' great
book (or pamphlet), SPRING AND ALL, and then we will read that great book
(or pamphlet) very carefully. We may even look into the question of
Williams' influence on American poetry since.
Grading
Occasional reader's responses: 20%
small essay: 15%
large essay: 30%
final exam: 35%
