Description
English 10B is a course on Anglophone literature written between 1700 and 1900. The course prepares students for upper division coursework in the English major. Students in the class will, upon completing it, have a general grasp on the literary movements that took place in the English speaking world during these two centuries. The course also aims to teach skills for close, formal reading, and our writing assignments, both in longer papers and short answer portions of quizzes, are designed to help students learn to write clear, well-organized argumentative essays.
