Description
ENL 10A, together with 10B and 10C, seeks to prepare students for advanced literary study. Core goals include developing students’ skills in literary analysis and research, and teaching students how to engage a range of genres. Although this course is chronologically organized, it cannot hope to cover or survey everything. 10A, therefore, will focus on literature in England up to 1700 with some attention to the development of literature in colonial America.
