The English Department and the University Writing Program held a plaque/bench dedication in the Voorhies courtyard in honor of longtime staff member, Janie Guhin, who passed away in 2016.

The California Aggie Marching Band-uh lead off the ceremony, and was followed by readings from Professors Pam Houston and Joshua Clover.  Mike Hayes, a close personal friend of Janie, read a poem he had written for her.
