Biography:
Dyani Johns is a second year graduate student in the English Department at the University of California, Davis. Her interest in languages and literature began at Skidmore College, where she received her bachelors degree, Summa Cum Laude in English with a minor in Dance. Her research interests include translation theory, early modern British, Spanish, and Atlantic literature, biblical re/interpretations and narratives of transformation. She is currently working towards a Designated Emphasis in Classics and/or Critical Theory, and beginning to study for her preliminary exams.
