Nick Luker
- Doctoral Candidate in English

Biography:
Nick is working on his Ph.D. with a Designated Emphasis in Critical Theory. His dissertation focuses on the intersection of the disjunctive narrative and sexuality in Shake-speares Sonnets and A Lover's Complaint. This is contrasted to how sexuality is constructed through narrative in Richard Barnfield's The Affectionate Shepherd, Shakespeare's own Venus and Adonis and The Rape of Lucrece, Christopher Marlowe's Hero and Leander, and John Dunne's "Sappho to Philaenis".
Nick's critical theory interests are in Derrida (deconstruction and its applications and intersection with law and rights), and the intersection of narrative and sexuality.
