Greg Glazner's books of poetry are From the Iron Chair and Singularity, both published by W.W. Norton. His awards include The Walt Whitman Award, the Bess Hokin Award from Poetry, and an N.E.A. Fellowship. His writing has appeared in Ploughshares, Poetry, The Colorado Review, Seneca Review, and many other magazines.
His recently-completed novel is Opening the World. Recent essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books and the anthology Brief Encounters (W.W. Norton, 2015).
An electric guitarist as well as a writer, Glazner performs regularly with The Responders. His collaboration with composer Garrett Shatzer--Greg wrote the text and played electric guitar with the ensemble--premiered at the Center for New Music in San Francisco in November of 2014.
