Description

    English 10B is the second course in the required Literatures in English sequence. It is designed to prepare you for upper-division coursework in English. To that end, we will study British and American literature from 1700 to 1900, focusing on major literary themes and genres and placing them in historical context. In this reading- and writing-intensive course, you will also develop the skills of literary interpretation, research, and argument needed for advanced study in English.
