Description
English 10B is the second course in the required three-part Literatures in English sequence. This is a reading- and writing-intensive class designed to prepare you for upper-division classes in the English major. This course is designed to improve your close reading and research skills and to give you an outline of some of the key themes emerging in the literatures of this period. To that end, we will read prose, poetry, and drama written in English between1700-1900 by authors who lived in a number of different geographical locations.
