Description
We will spend the majority of the course analyzing and discussing student fiction in a workshop format. We will also read essays on the art of fiction from E.M. Forster, Toni Cade Bambara, John Gardner, Carole Maso, and others. In addition, we will read and discuss selections from both classic and contemporary short stories.
