What is your favorite UC Davis Memory? 

My favorite UC Davis memory was spending my senior year playing volleyball and learning to write both poetry and fiction. After years of required classes, Shakespeare, a million papers, and commuting hundreds of hours, it felt great to experience my version of heaven for a few months.

What are you up to now, professionally or personally? 

I am now the Internal Communications Manager for Cognite, using my love of writing, storytelling, and teaching to help build the best industrial software company in the world. My job gives me lots of amazing storytelling opportunities. In November, the Ocean Data Foundation launched the Ocean Data Platform, an incredibly ambitious data-driven ocean sustainability project, powered by Cognite’s core technology. It will be an essential part of the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, opening in Oslo next year.
