What is your favorite memory at UC Davis?

Performing hula with Na Keiki O'Hawaii while barefoot in the Quad, and taking science fiction classes with Colin Milburn!

What are you up to now, personally or professionally?

I study ocean media/literature as a professor of English at UC Santa Barbara. I recently published a book called Wild Blue Media: Thinking Through Seawater and have an edited collection coming out soon called Saturation: An Elemental Politics. It is a nice feeling to continue being part of the UC system, which gave me such a strong start!
