Biography:
Wally Wallis teaches writing and literature courses at UC Davis and Sierra College. Though he specializes in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century literature, history, and culture, Wallis has instructed courses in medieval, eighteenth-century, late Victorian, and LGBTQ+ world literature, developmental and advanced composition, writing about media, creative writing, feminist and sexuality studies, and liberal studies. As a promoter of public humanities, he believes in making academic work and conversations available and accessible to popular audiences.
