All English majors who meet the following criteria are invited to submit materials as requested:
- A minimum overall GPA (at the end of winter quarter), UC cumulative, of 3.500.
- A minimum upper-division GPA in the major (also at the end of winter quarter) of 3.75.
- Expected completion of all degree requirements by the end of the 2022-2023 academic year, including Summer Sessions. (Students whose names appear on the December 2021 and March 2022 degree lists, and who meet the other criteria, are also eligible to apply).
Please submit the following materials to voorhiesadvising@ucdavis.edu:
- A brief statement, no more than 250 words, highlighting your major
academic, creative, and extracurricular accomplishments.
- A 7-12 pp. writing sample
