Supporting Our Students After the Presidential Election

We stand with colleagues across HArCS and the UCD campus in supporting students of all races, all religions, all gender identities, all sexualities, and all conditions of documentation.
Below we provide an updated list of resources for students needing care as well as instructions for how to report an act of hate or bias. Please feel free to disseminate widely.
We provide this list against the backdrop of an overall increase in verbal and physical assault explicitly targeting people of color, women, and LGBTQIA people. Violence against Muslims has risen especially precipitously. The New York Times observes that, according to an FBI report issued Monday, this trend has spiked in the week following the recent presidential election.
